Superdrug Beauty Advent Calendars 2016

Today I have a little blog post for you on some more Beauty Advent Calendars, as you may know earlier last week I wrote a blog on my top 10 beauty advent calendars and today I am going to be talking about a further two advent calendars that I was very kindly end by the lovely PR team over at Superdrug.

As I’m sure you all know all the beauty brands have been getting on board the beauty advent calendar bang waggon this year. They are growing in popularity for many of us all across the UK and 2016 has seen many more brands release their own versions for this Christmas tide. But, with some of them being priced anywhere from £40-£280 they can be a tad expensive for anyone who is on a budget this year. But, Superdrug have a remedy for that as this year they have released 9 advent calendars from different brands ranging from £8-£40. So this Christmas there will be a calendar for everyone, I did feature two of these calendars in my last blog including the Makeup Revolution and the Tanya Burr one. But, today I am going to be talking about the two I was sent.

The Studio London 12 Days of Christmas Calendar

So the first one is from the beauty brand Studio London, Studio London are an affordable brand who make cosmetics and they have a range of lovely gift sets on sale in Superdrug at this time of year. The brand is also Vegan and Vegetarian friendly. This advent calendar has a sketched design of a glamorous lady made up with gold festive makeup and nails and a festive Christmas scene of tree and gold wrapped gifts. Inside you get an assortment of 12 nail polish colours in both matte and glitter finishes in festive and classic colours like gold glitter, black glitter, red, light pink and grey. This would make a great calendar for anyone who enjoys experimenting with different nail colours and it has some perfect colours to wear for the party season. You could wear some of the colours on their own or combined with the gold glitter shade. I’m extremely excited to use these shades for the festive season and at £8 you really can’t go wrong.

The Flutter Beauty Advent Calendar

This next calendar is more focused towards younger girls who are just starting to experiment with makeup or who like to dress up. This cute advent calendar features a pink house with little festive Kittens and Puppies in each window. Inside the calendar you get an assortment of eyeshadows, lip balms, lip glosses and applicators to allow younger girls to experiment with makeup. This calendar would be perfect for young girls who love makeup and want to start getting creative.
